BACKGROUND:
After graduating from college, Pat
Stacker served 4 years as a Naval officer in Vietnam.
Thereafter he served as a communications systems engineer,
with Litton Industries, Data Systems Division for two years in
Woodland Hills California.
Subsequently, he served as a
consultant at First Interstate Bank for five years, wherein he
worked in the Real Estate Division and as the Assistant Vice-President
of Strategic Planning.
In 1978, Patrick Stacker became
House Counsel for Coldwell Banker Commercial, serving in various
capacities including the General Counsel for their Real Estate
Management Division and concluding as the General Counsel of the
Investment Banking Division. During
such time, he closed over 1000 contracts, with asset sales in
excess of 5 billion dollars. His largest transactions were:
The
listing of the Sears Tower, for 1.1 billion dollars, and
The purchase of Coldwell
Banker Commercial from Sears Roebuck & Company, by its employees
for $316 million dollars.
CURRENT LEGAL PRACTICE:
During the past eleven years,
Patrick Stacker has been in private practice in the World Trade
Center of Long Beach, California.
He currently represents clients doing corporate, real
estate, finance, and estate planning work for them.
These efforts include forming profit and non-profit corporations,
LLP's, LLC's, closing sale and lease transactions, major aspects
of probate, and providing trusts, wills and other estate planning
vehicles for his clients. Mr. Stacker
represented Nemisio Granadino in the California reported case,
Conservatorship of Ramirez, which can be reviewed in 90 Cal
App. 4th, page 390. Other
representative clients include Newman Tonks Quality Hardware,
Balboa Investment Group, Christian Reformed Church Board of
Home Missions, Investment Development Services and Pacific Southwest
District Lutheran Church.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
Pat Stacker has served
for the last nine years as one of four District Reconcilers
for the Pacific Southwest District. During
this process he has been involved in numerous district reconciliations
and three national Dispute Resolution Panels.
He also serves as a mediator for real estate matters.
ACTIVITIES
Pat is a member of Bethany
Lutheran Church in Long Beach, California and serves as a Trustee
of Concordia University, Irvine's Foundation.
He is a member of Long Beach and Los Angeles County Bar
Associations, as well as the Cerritos Optimists, and has been
active in the Boy Scouts and Y-Guides.
